I do like Mad's Chicken Salad sandwich on whole wheat. The chicken salad is very good and comes with some very nice ingredients, most notably pieces of celery in the mayo mixture. The sandwich alone cost $11, but they charge if you want to add a side salad or fries. I think the sandwich should at least come with a pickle spear. The sandwich was good, but the chicken salad was even better. It was very flavorful and had a nice texture. The wheat bread they used was good, but a little dry since they served it cold. The sandwich came with fresh iceberg lettuce and tomatoes. They should switch to butter lettuce or romaine lettuce for better eye appeal and flavor. I had a regular drip coffee with my meal. It was surprisingly good for a drip coffee. It was smooth and offered a very good coffee flavor. The service was very good. The gents that served me were friendly. Come early if you don't was stand in line for brunch or later after noon for lunch to avoid the peek hour crowds. They serve until 2 pm.

Servers were nice once we got seated. Waited over an hour for our table to be given to someone else, needless to say, we weren't happy with that. All of us were already hungry and they didn't even want to give us waters given how hot it was outside. Patio and indoors seems to be nice and was pretty packed, as expected for Sunday brunch. Cute decor and even provided little fan things at the tables in the patio area to keep flies away. Food was good. It wasn't super expensive and the plate sizes were generous. I ordered the Greek fries and tried some of the waffle churros and it was all delicious. Would come back again, just not a fan of the wait for a seat, especially for a bigger party.

one of my favorite brunch spots in sd! parking: street parking (it can be difficult to find) what we ordered: *The GOAT: my go-to item whenever I eat at madi. I loved this sandwich so much that I tried to replicate it at home. the creaminess of the goat cheese goes so well with the spicy & sweet jam. and the egg brings everything together. *carnitas shasuka: my friend ordered this, and she enjoyed it. the tomato flavor was great main takeaway: cute aesthetic, great service, fun menu. a good tip is to make a reservation on the site because they do get pretty busy on the weekends. if you're looking for brunch spots, you can't go wrong with madi :)

The food was good! It took a while & some things were missing but overall tasted good once everything came out. During the summer it's very hot and I recommend sitting inside vs outside. The outside area gets super hot. Dog friendly
